Young Engineers Award – Fourth Class Project

11th Nov 2025

Our Fourth Classes are currently taking part in the Young Engineers Award, a national initiative run through STEPS, Engineers Ireland’s programme that encourages young people to explore science, technology, engineering and maths. The Young Engineers Award is a team-based project designed for primary school students. It introduces pupils to the engineering design process, encourages creative problem-solving, and helps them understand how engineering can improve the world around them.We are delighted to have Aaron Browne from ESB working with our school on this project. Aaron is collaborating closely with Mr Doran, Mr O’Carroll and both Fourth Class groups as they develop their ideas and learn more about what engineers do.We look forward to seeing the exciting projects the boys create as part of this project.
