Cashel Library hosted The Lions Club Peace Poster Competition Presentations last Friday night at Cashel Library. Twelve local schools took part in this year’s competition, with over 200 entries submitted. The theme for 2024 was “Together As One.”The overall winner was Abbie Bourke from Scoil Mhuire, Knockavilla NS.Jack Burgess Delaney from St. John the Baptist BNS was also a prizewinner.The adjudicator, Petronelle Clifton Browne, spoke about each piece and invited the children to explain the ideas behind their entries.A special thank you to our SNA and Lions Club President, Monica Slattery, for her wonderful help in organising the event.
