Local History visit to the Fountain, Lower Gate-5th Class, Ms O’ Donoghue
8th Nov 2025
Fifth Class visited the fountain yesterday. The boys learned many facts about it during the week. It was erected in 1904 by the people of Cashel to commemorate Dean Kinane’s amazing contribution to Cashel. It was unveiled on the 19th December, 1904- the same day that the first train went from Cashel to Gooldscross.
