Anthony from Heritage in Schools visited some of the classes this week to bring to life some of the stories about Tom Crean. The boys were enthralled by his description of Antarctica and the harshness of the continent. They also got to see the clothes a modern day explorer wears to the Arctic. Best of all was the story of Tom Crean’s bravery and selflessness during his first expedition to Antarctica.
