This week in our school, we are celebrating Local History Week! Each class has been assigned a historical site around Cashel to explore. Third Class were very lucky to have The Cashel Palace as their chosen site.
The staff at The Cashel Palace were absolutely amazing and gave us the warmest welcome. They took us on a tour of the hotel and its beautiful grounds, introducing us to managers, guests, gardeners, and many other members of the team.
The boys learned so much about the fascinating history of the building and asked lots of thoughtful questions. When we returned to school, we completed a fact file and carried out some additional research to build on what we had learned.
One of the highlights of the visit was definitely the delicious smoothies that the staff so kindly provided! The boys had a fantastic time and represented their school with pride.
