Despite the disappointment of losing the Roinn A Co. Final on Thursday last and the school hurling league final the following day, Conor O' Dwyer resiliently bounced back and lined out for Tipperary in the Gaelic Grounds on Sunday.
He played very well in the half back line (number five) fielding a number of superb high balls. I watched proudly from the sideline as Conor joined 10 other boys from Tipperary primary schools in action againt their Limerick counterparts.
The match was played at half-time in the Munster Senior Hurling semi final in the Gaelic Grounds. A good day all round was capped by Tipp seniors beating the Luimneach boys by 4-23 to 1-16, senior star Seamie Callanan bagging 2-5.
Well done, Conor. The entire school community is very proud of you!
